How to transfer files from a Huawei Android phone to Windows PC in a WLAN
How to access phone files and photos from your computer? If so, then you’re in the right place as here I will help you learn how to wirelessly share your Huawei mobile storage on a desktop computer.
An in-built functionality of Huawei smartphones, Huawei Share comes in handy to transfer data between two Huawei devices or a Huawei device and Windows PC.
As it transferred the data through a Wi-Fi connection and so, both the receiver and sender should be connected to the same wireless network. However, below is the step-by-step guide on how to use Huawei Share to transfer Huawei files to the computer:
Step 1. On your Windows PC, go to Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features. Then, click on Turn Window features on or off and ensure that SMB1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support is checked.
Step 2. Next, go to Settings → Network & Internet → Sharing options, and Turn on Network Discovery related to your network profile.
Step 3. After then, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel (swipe twice, if necessary), then touch and hold Huawei Share to access the settings screen (or go to Settings on your Huawei phone and click on Device connectivity).
Step 4. Now, you’ll there find the Huawei Share settings. Enable Huawei Share and Computer share options.
Step 5. Once enabled, you need to set up a Username and Password. And ensure that both your Huawei device and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi connection.
Step 6. Open File Explorer on your computer and go to Network to select your Huawei device to access its data on the computer.
That’s how Huawei Share works and you’re ready to transfer data from your phone to PC. Don’t forget to like and share if you find ituseful. Bid farewell to that messy tangle of wires and cables ;-)
